Accepting proposals - A unique coliving opportunity (Tempe, Arizona)
Know a community looking for a truly unique home?
Culdesac Tempe is a project that means a lot to me.
I helped start it back in 2018 and it was my first experience as a real estate developer. What was once some drawings on the page is now a real place with hundreds of residents, a collection of urban planning awards, and some of the best retail experiences in the Phoenix area. It’s also the first walkable car-free community built from scratch in the US – it will soon house 1000 residents, 50 courtyards, 2 miles of bike/walking trails and 0 sq ft of asphalt.
I was chatting to the CEO Ryan Johnson last week and he wanted to make an interesting offer to Supernuclear readers.
Culdesac is opening a new “block” in a month. Usually they’d fill it with walkable city enthusiasts (and there are a lot of them, even in the Phoenix area), but Ryan is a fan of coliving and is willing to try something a bit different.
Do you and some friends (or a community) want to lease an entire “block” of apartment units at Culdesac Tempe?
Some details:
6 month minimum
Potential ability to design / outfit a private courtyard and balconies
Mostly 1br apartments, with some live/work studios/storefronts, and a few larger units
Up to 15 units available
Ryan is willing to provide rents at a discount to a group who takes multiple units (starting at $1400 per month)
Do you have a proposal for a coliving experiment in this space?
Do you know a community who might want to airdrop themselves into a unique shared living situation (but with private units)?
If so, drop me a line - hi@gosupernuclear.com and let’s chat about it.
Phil
Just make sure you are OK with the weather 5-6 months out of the year.
This past summer it was (a record) 113 days of +100F weather.
this is very cool
