Can't wait to hear what you find. I have always wondered why more people don't do this. It woud be a lot easier than building a brand new community, and in the right neighborhood could a broader ranged of housing costs options. Years ago, I read about a "Tribe" in Portland that asked its members to commit to living within a certain physical radius/neighborhood with intent of supporting each other as they age. Will be very interested to hear what you find out there.
